Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligibile Indian Nationals for filling up of   various  jobs in different  Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Zonal Railways  and other Railway organisation. Application should be sent directly to the respective RRBs / Zonal Ofifces : 


1. Stenographer/ Junior Stenographer (Hindi/ English) :   670 posts


2. Law Assistant :  21  posts


3. Hindi Assistant (Rajbhasha Sahayak) Grade-II :  44 posts


4. Finger Print Examiner :   04 posts


5. Sr. Publicity Inspector :  08 posts


6. Catering Inspector/ Manager :   01 post


7. Assistant Master/ Mistress/ Teachers :   218 posts  (TGT and PGT in various subjects/ English Lecturer/ Primary School Teacher/ Physical Training Instructor/ Physical Training Teacher/ Craft Teacher/ Librarian) 


8. Library Clerk :   01 post



Application Fee :  Rs.60/-  or Rs.40/- as the case may or different posts in the form of IPO / DD in favour of Assistant Secretary of  concerned RRB where candidate wants to apply.



Company Profile:



Railway Recruitment Board, Jammu-Srinagar is one of the nineteen RRBs on the Indian Railways. It caters primarily to recruitment of candidates on all-india basis to group 'C' advertised posts for Firozepur Division of Northern Railway and Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. Besides this, it also conducts joint examination for recruitment with RRB, Chandigarh for common categories of advertised group 'C' posts.

The Railway Recruitment Board, Jammu-Srinagar has a Chairman, an Assistant Secretary and non-gazetted staff. The RRBs function under the direct control of the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB), Ministry of Railways, New Delhi in matters relating to policy and procedures for recruitment, monitoring and for review of performance; on advise regarding priorities as required and regarding system improvement from time to time.

The GM's of the concerned Railway provide administrative support and assistance in the conduct of examination for recruitment by providing gazetted and non-gazetted railway officials for conducting examination etc. as required by the RRBs and by providing infrastructural and logistic support in the matter of posting of non-gazetted staff, established matters, maintenance of RRB building, vigilance checks, office equipment etc.
